Choosing a guaraná grade: read the standardization line
Guaraná grades are not interchangeable, and the difference is on the TDS, not on the label. Our 10% grade is standardized to 10% natural caffeine — the assay comes from the seed extract itself. The 22% and 5% grades reach their declared level with caffeine added during standardization, which the TDS states in plain words ("caffeine added to reach the declared level"). Both are legitimate ingredients; which one you can use depends on the claim you intend to make and on the regulatory framework of your market — so specify the grade by how it is standardized, not only by percentage.
For energy beverages the 10% and 22% spray-dried grades dose easily and disperse well; for tablets and concentrated pre-mixes the 50% grade minimizes fill weight; for a "natural energy" positioning where the caffeine must come from the botanical, the 10% grade is the one to specify. Every lot ships with caffeine by HPLC on the COA.
Heavy-metal, ethylene-oxide and microbiological limits
These are the numbers on the published specification sheet, with the method next to each limit.

| Mercury (Hg) | ≤ 0.75 mg/kg | ICP-MS, USP <730> |
| Ethylene oxide (EtO) · irradiation | Not treated with ethylene oxide · not irradiated | — |
| Pesticide residues | Compliant | QuEChERS |
| Moisture | ≤ 6.0 % | AOAC 925.09 |

Typical specifications from the published TDS (Rev. 01, 28/07/2026); the controlling document is the batch COA, which states the method for each result.
