How to read a standardized-extract specification
Two extracts can both say "25% vitamin C" and be different ingredients. What matters is the standardization line on the TDS: whether the active is naturally occurring and concentrated (our camu camu 7% and 12%, our guaraná 10%, our yerba maté 4:1), or whether the isolated active was added to reach the declared level (our acerola 34% and our guaraná 22% and 5%). We publish this line on every specification because it decides which claims your finished product can carry and, in some markets, which category it falls into.
The second thing to read is the method next to each limit: an active without a method is a number nobody can reproduce. Every extract in this range states its assay method (titration or HPLC), its heavy-metal method (ICP-MS, USP <730>) and its microbiological methods (FDA BAM), and every lot ships with a COA that repeats them.
